Curvy Staircase
Inspired by a woman's curves - a curvy staircase adds a tinge of sexiness into a home.Rather than the usual straight and narrow, a light homeliness is built into the otherwise cold hard feeling of the shiny tiled floor and no-nonsense type furniture as depicted in this picture.
It was challenge designing a home fit for a male professional and yet not portray him as a hard hearted soul.
Light up your life!
This is one of my favourites - the corner sitting area of a bedroom. The homeowner enjoys the outside view, hence a floor to ceiling window was designed at the corner to maximise the effect.At the same time, sunlight can be controlled with custom made adjustable louvres windows to create a romantic effect.
Dark walnut stained finish Nyatoh wood was used to bring character into the mostly white walls which suited the owner's simple taste.
About Me
Home renovation has been a part of my life since 1990 - I studied interior design and worked for a few interior design multi national companies before starting out on my own.
I started off designing small kitchen areas but have now grown into building homes from ground up. It wasn't alwasy smooth sailing but my passion for this field has made all the ups and downs memorable.
